It's Sunday once again, and you know what that means—it's time for one of my favorite rituals… the Sunday Citar! For those who are curious, "citar" is Spanish for "to quote," and every week we share our favorite quotes—ones that inspire, amuse, or even bring tears to our eyes.
Whether it's a profound thought that resonates deeply or a lighthearted quip that makes us smile, this is the perfect space to celebrate words. So go ahead, let your inner poet shine, and share something meaningful with the rest of us. It’s a little way to connect through the power of language.

Blue eyes

“The question is not what you look at, but what you see.”
~Henry David Thoreau

Sometimes, I feel like I’ve been handed a fresh pair of eyes. Things that were once ordinary now seem extraordinary, and the familiar feels brand-new. It’s not that the world has changed—it’s that I’ve begun to see it differently. Change can be daunting, sure, but embracing it opens doors to perspectives I never knew existed. And while I might still be looking at the same things, I’m seeing them in technicolor detail.

It’s funny how life works sometimes—like a cat chasing its tail, spinning in circles without realizing it’s learning something along the way. I guess I’m still figuring out the lesson here, but I’m enjoying the ride. Deep down, I know this journey of discovery is worth every twist and turn.

Oh, and let’s not forget Brayden, whose baby blues are melting hearts everywhere—including mine. Seriously, stop charming everyone, kid—you’re making it hard to stay focused!
