These measures include wrapping tree trunks with plastic film to create a physical barrier against pests, applying oil treatments to prevent overwintering scale insect eggs from hatching, and using a 45% lime sulfur crystal solution diluted 30 times to spray 35% of the tree canopies. This helps control various pests such as Euonymus scale, Ligustrum scale, and rot disease affecting Populus tomentosa. Additionally, the bureau is closely monitoring the health of plants and regularly inspecting for signs of infestation or disease.
