According to relevant research reports, the traditional Chinese medicines crushed by conventional methods often consist of several or dozens of cells, and the cell wall breaking rate is extremely low. Because the internal effect of the drug particles will be released through several or dozens of cell walls and cell membranes, the release rate is very slow, and the release time of the drug in the body is limited due to the limited time of drug stay in the body. The oily and volatile components are adsorbed on the surface of some solid and semi-liquid components while being mixed and pulverized, and some of the surface-active substances in the medicinal materials make them easy to be compatible with the hydrophilic components, thereby achieving homogenization. If it is stirred in water, segregation between oily and aqueous components does not occur. Due to the micro-pulverization at the cell level, the oil cells in the medicinal material are broken while being homogenized, so that the compound Chinese medicine containing the volatile component is reduced or increased in volatility due to different conditions. After homogenized compound Chinese medicine, its oily and volatile components can be dispersed evenly in the stomach, and the effect of drug homogenization will be uniformly absorbed in the small intestine simultaneously with other water-soluble components. This is in contrast to the rate of absorption of unbroken medicinal materials comminuted by conventional comminution.

According to the relevant information, the ultrafine pulverization of traditional Chinese medicine only requires the micro-crushing of the cell-breaking cells of the animal and plant medicinal materials, and the mineral medicine can reach <5μm. The equipment currently available for this work is available in three internationally recognized ultrafine grinding equipments: vibrating mills, ball mills and planetary mills. Since the ball mill has low production efficiency and long pulverization time, it is generally not used. Although the planetary mill has high production efficiency, the stand-alone capacity is too small and it is inconvenient to use, so it is not used. In recent years, Germany and Japan have used vibrating mills for the ultrafine grinding of animals and plants. However, the vibration mill has one, two and three generations. Only the third-generation vibration mill is the ideal equipment for efficient ultra-fine pulverization. It is used for plants with spore structure (particle size only 10μm). For example, the broken wall of Ganoderma lucidum spore powder can be completed in a short time, and the breaking rate is 99%. For any Chinese medicine, ultrafine pulverization can be performed.

On the basis of the above research, we selected the third generation of ultra-fine grinding vibration grinding equipment from August 2000 to May 2001. After the traditional Chinese medicine formula and some single-flavor Chinese medicine, it was processed into ultra-fine powder after traditional processing. No added excipients, no extraction, warm boiled water into a decoction Chinese medicine, through the clinical trials of hundreds of patients, achieved the desired results. It has achieved the goal of reducing the dosage of medicinal materials by 60%~70%, saving the medicinal materials, improving the curative effect, eliminating the trouble of boiling, and taking it conveniently and carrying it. It is welcomed by the patients.

After superfine pulverization of different types of traditional Chinese medicine compound and some single-flavored traditional Chinese medicine, the dosage, efficacy and side reaction are as follows.

From the above trials of various types of pharmaceuticals, it shows that the ultrafine powder of traditional Chinese medicine can be greatly reduced regardless of the dosage of the medicine, but the curative effect is comparable to or improved with the decoction, and no adverse reactions are found. Anyone who has taken this dosage form is reluctant to take the decoction, especially for chronic patients who need long-term medication, which deserves further research and promotion.
