Pregnancy hormone or solitude

Release date: 2009-03-20

The latest research in the UK shows that the child's singularity is related to the level of hormones in the fetus.
British researchers have investigated the association of male hormones with isolated personality traits from birth to childhood. Now, these children are 8 years old. The questionnaires filled out by their parents show that children with relatively high androgen in the womb during the fetus are not enthusiastic about social communication, but have better pattern recognition and digital skills, such as Can remember the license plate number very well. These children with higher androgen in the fetus did not develop child autism, but they have personality traits. When these characteristics are extreme, they often develop into children's autism.
Researchers at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom measured amniotic androgen levels in 235 pregnant women and tracked their growth and development. In their previous report, children who had experienced higher androgen in their mother's womb were less likely to pay attention to their mothers than other children when they were 12 months old. At 18 months, they have fewer words than other children. The latest report by Simon Baron Cohen and Bonnie Ouyang at the British Academic Association Science Festival in York shows that the relationship between the hormone levels in the fetus and the behavior of the aloof personality will continue after the child is adult.
Androgens in the fetal period are thought to affect the fetus itself more than the mother. The baby produces more male hormones in the uterus, allowing his fraternal twin sisters to develop in amniotic fluids with higher hormone levels. However, other environmental and genetic factors are also factors in the formation of children's isolated personality.
In previous animal studies, the relationship between androgen and autistic personality traits has also been mentioned. Although childhood autism is caused by fetal androgen, it has not been confirmed, but the University of Cambridge study gives the biological support of this theory. Now Barron Cohen's research is comparing 90,000 amniotic fluid samples from the Danish National Biobank's psychiatric record to examine the relationship between androgen and autism. 3D dental imaging is slowly becoming the new standard of care in dental practices. 3D dental scanning allows dentists to digitally reconstruct your teeth in 3D. Dental practitioners can interact with this 3D model and visualize aspects of the model that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to access. This new perspective allows clinicians to more effectively diagnose an issue or provide a more effective means of treatment.
3D dental scanner is most commonly utilized for cosmetic and restoration purposes, such as reconstructive therapy or oral surgery. 3D imaging allows for planning and customizing services for procedures such as bone grafts, implants, and root canals. 3D scanning is also often used to create 3D images for orthodontic treatment.
