Peach root root tumor suspected as root cancer

I planted a peach nursery last year. This year, I picked up peach seedlings and saw that about 35% of plant roots had tumors. The tumor has an egg size. No plots near the area are seedlings. In addition, other people and I have used the same seeds. The roots of other people's peach seedlings have no tumor. Why is this? The local species are wheat and corn all year round. Comrade Chen Dong Chen, a magistrate of Bagui County, Binhai County: According to preliminary research conducted by researcher Ma Ruijuan, an expert in peach research at the Institute of Horticulture, Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, egg-sized nodules appear in the roots of peach trees, probably caused by root cancer. It is understood that root cancer mainly occurs in the root and neck, and sometimes occurs in lateral roots and roots. The roots are damaged to form cancerous tumors of different sizes, such as small or small beans, large fists or larger, usually spherical or irregularly spherical, with rough surfaces and irregularities. The roots of the diseased seedlings were stunted, with less fine roots, slower growth in the shoots, and dwarfism in the plants. When the disease was severe, the leaves were yellowed and dropped off. Adult fruit trees suffer from small fruits and reduced tree age. In the early stages of disease, the symptoms of the aerial parts are not obvious. The disease is a bacterial disease and the pathogen is Agrobacterium tumefaciens. The pathogenic bacteria overwintered in the epidermis and soil of the disease and survived for more than one year with the diseased body in the soil. The pathogens are transmitted by water flow, underground pests, grafting tools, and working implements, and diseased seedlings and species transport can be spread over long distances. After the bacteria invade from the wound, symptoms are manifested for several weeks or more. Soil-alkaline and high-humidity sandy soils have a high incidence rate, and they are susceptible to disease. Root wounds are often heavily affected. To prevent peach root cancer, it is necessary to strengthen cultivation and management, increase organic fertilizer, pay attention to drainage, improve soil physical and chemical properties, and appropriately apply acidic fertilizers to soils in alkaline soils. Peony seedlings were strictly inspected and the diseased plants were found to have been burned out. Before the peach seedlings are planted, roots are soaked with 2 million units per gram of Agrobacterium tumefaciens wet powder for 30 minutes. For 2-3-year-old saplings, the rhizosphere soil can be irrigated with 2 million units per gram of Agrobacterium wet powder 30 times, and 1-2 kg per strain. For the diseased plants, the cancerous tumors can be incised, and 2 million units/gram of Agrobacterium tumefaciens wet powder 30 times cotton are applied to the wounds, and the surrounding liquid is poured, and the scraped cancerous tissue should be promptly cleaned. Burn; or use lime sulfur residue or Bordeaux fluid to protect the wound. Ma Ruijuan reminded that after the occurrence of root cancer in peach trees, the effect of drug control is poor, and rotation is the most fundamental measure to prevent the disease. Since peach seedlings that do not have root carcinogenesis in the diseased nursery may also be infected with pathogens but only show no symptoms, it is recommended that the peach seedlings in the above-mentioned nursery should be destroyed in a centralized manner so as not to cause greater losses after being planted in Daejeon.
