1. Chemical pretreatment dehydration In order to improve the dewatering property of the sludge, improve the properties of the filter cake, and increase the permeability of the material, the sludge needs to be chemically treated. 2. Gravity concentrated dewatering section sludge is evenly fed into the mesh belt through the cloth bucket. The sludge runs forward with the filter belt. The free water flows into the water tank through the filter belt under the action of self-weight. Gravity dewatering can also be said to be a highly concentrated section. The main function is to remove the free water from the sludge, so that the activity of the sludge is reduced and it is prepared for further extrusion.

3. The activity of sludge after gravity dewatering in the pre-pressure dewatering section of the wedge zone is almost completely lost. As the filter belt moves forward, the spacing between the upper and lower filter belts gradually decreases, and the material begins to be slightly stressed, and runs with the filter belt. Gradually increasing, the role of the wedge-shaped zone is to prolong the gravity dewatering time, increase the extrusion stability of the floc, and prepare for the inlet pressure zone.

4. The high-pressure dewatering section of the squeeze roller enters the pressure zone after leaving the wedge zone, and the material is squeezed in this zone. The pressure along the running direction of the filter belt increases with the decrease of the diameter of the squeeze roller, and the material shrinks by the extrusion volume. The free water in the gap in the material is extruded. At this time, the filter cake is basically formed, and the water content of the filter cake can be lowered to a low level after continuing to the high pressure region of the pressure tail.

After the material is dehydrated by the above stages, the filter cake is discharged, scraped off by the scraper, and the upper and lower filter belts are separated. The high-pressure washing water removes the trace material between the filter holes, and continues to enter the next dehydration cycle.
