Prevention and cure of kiwifruit root diseases

1. Phytophthora seedlings are improperly planted, buried too deeply and susceptible to Phytophthora. The first round water-stained spots on the stem and roots of the main stem are expanded to dark brown irregular shape with cortical necrosis, necrotic cortex, and dark brown inner cortex. When severe, the lesion surrounds the stem and causes the main ring to cut to death. The leaves withered and the plants died. Agricultural control: The depth of kiwifruit is not suitable for burying the soil. The trunks that have been deeply planted are soaked in the soil and exposed to joints to reduce the occurrence of diseases. The park has a smooth drainage channel and does not accumulate water to reduce the humidity in the orchards and prevent diseases. Chemical control: In the initial stage of disease, the soil was air-dried, the lesions were scraped off, and then the wounds were sterilized with 50 times of Formamide, 80% diethylaluminophosphate 30-50 times or 853 rehabilitant solution, and filled for two weeks. Use 70% Antai 400 times solution to spray the main stem, upper trunk and branches, or fill the roots with mancozeb 0.5 kg water and 200 kg water. When the root rot disease occurs, the root tips turn yellow and dark, losing the absorption function, resulting in smaller upper leaves, yellowing, and serious fruit trees withering. There are two main reasons for the occurrence of root rot: First, the roots are planted with too much buried soil, or the soil is often exposed to excessive water, roots are blocked from breathing, and growth is difficult. The second is the lack of nutrition, or root distribution when planting is too shallow, winter susceptible to frost damage; or fertilized grass deep rooting, leading to bacteria invasion, and thus the incidence. Therefore, the depth of grass and fertilization cannot exceed 25 cm. For mature orchards that have been infected with root rot, 0.8% of bacteria can be used to extinguish 300 times or 40% of carbendazim to 400 times of liquid roots. Each tree can be filled with 2-3 kilograms of liquid medicine and every 15 days. Irrigation for 2-3 times can significantly resist diseases and increase fruit tree production.
